Celebrating 3 Years!

Three years ago, I stood on a soft sanded breezy beach in Maui and married my dream boat of a lifetime. Happy Anniversary to my D!

And as it goes: I love you more!!!

I've spent almost half my life together with you, a feeling that can never be summed up with words.  I will strive to always be a better wife and a supportive companion.

My dear friend Jen is leaving this Friday to Maui, to get married to her one and only.  If anyone deserves to have the best trip, the best wedding, and best memories one could hold- it's Jennifer.

To Jen  (who I'll always continue to title "Dearest"), you'll be a stunning Bride, and gorgeous Wife, and always an amazing friend.  Hugs far across the Pacific to you and C  :)

We are Honored- Maui Wedding Magazine

Today, D and I just learned that our wedding was featured in Maui Weddings Magazine.  Yay!  Out of 142 pages, our wedding had a four page spread- pretty sweet.  It's been about a year and a half since our amazing day, and looking at our photos always brings back every single joyous emotion (that I didn't even realize could possibly be felt).  *reminissing over here*  We're excited to share the news!

Thinking of Our Day

Today I was thinking of our wedding day.  I can remember every detail so vividly- I hope my memories always stay that way.  I found this photo of myself getting ready to walk down the aisle to D, my Dad is standing behind me, and it brought back an amazing memory.

Missing Maui Much

All I can say today is that I'm missing Maui (and can't wait to return with hubs next year)

Wedding Memories

So, there's not a simpler way to put it- but yes, I lag on getting our wedding photos up around the house and printed out.  We have not one wedding photo displayed in our home!  How bad is this?  It's been almost a year since D and I got married and it's time to get crackin.  Photography was our number one splurge/must have for our wedding, yet we have not fully taken advantage of the amazing results we received.  We cannot be more stoked with our photographer Ian Shepherd of Photographer's Hawaii for capturing so many special moments of the most perfect day.  Perhaps there are just too many photos we love, that we cannot be selective as to what we should display.  I don't want to turn our home into a wedding shrine, but I do want to choose a few special ones.  Oh the choices!

Any ideas on which one should be framed and placed on my nightstand?
